Tarot Meditation for 11/19

Ixchel (13) is representing medicine of the rainbow jaguar and this is the card that represents the week that we are about to have. Ixchel is here to protect and usher us through this period of transition that we are facing. Let’s get into what the card description gives and then what it means in a reading.

“Ixchel protects you now, as you transition from one life phase to the next. With her rainbow light, this guardian goddess instructs you on how to use great power with wisdom, to nourish only what is worthy. Using Jaguar Medicine, with perfect timing, she confronts that which is unworthy of her devotion, eradicating destructive forces and creating space for healing and rebirth. Her presence is the wild power of the jaguar, the renewal promise of the rainbow and divine feminine creativity. All darkness shall be overcome.”

Praise God for the darkness being overcome. This reminds me of what I received in one of my daily devotionals today:

I feel like overcoming the darkness of my life is like my theme and part of my Scorpio code right now. I run pessimistic and it’s such a bitch to admit that openly and I’m doing my part to try and be better/catch myself when I feel myself upon a spiral. Part of what I work through is making sure that I say what it is that I’m feeling in the moment and also telling people what’s going on inside my head instead of holding onto it for later. I’ve been dealing with my own struggles in my mind this week and I’ve been stressed about them because I don’t want that to affect my relationships or affect the way that people look at me, which I shouldn’t be worried about at all. I should be focused on me and this is part of the transition phase I think I’m finding myself in as well as others. Especially now that I find myself waking up happy everyday in some shape or form, and this is new for me. I promise you, in my 34 years of life…waking up happy regularly has rarely ever been a thing so I’m learning how to make use of the energy right in front of me for my benefit and for the benefit of my community.

“You are going through a transition. Cultivate hope and stay true to your intentions. Let nothing divert you from your true path. If you have a new project, vision or lifestyle that you are seeking to bring into the world, Ixchel is guiding and guarding you for a healthy birth.” This is great to reinforce for my deck and other projects that may be coming down the pipeline but anything else that I’m doing is definitely going under wraps until it’s brought to term as a full birth. Issa Rae taught me to not do any announcements and I’ve seen things fall through before as soon as I get excited about it so I’m just going to shut my mf mouth.

“She also brings a message that there are times when fierceness is necessary. It is important that you cut off negative sources completely at this time and do not allow yourself to be used or exploited. This is not the time to indulge someone else’s ego or go against your own inner knowing in order to give someone the benefit of the doubt. Trust your instincts and break immediately from what isn’t right for you. This will bring you new opportunities and situations that are worthy of your passionate devotion.”

This is the time for you to know what is worth your energy and what isn’t. It’s mad clear that this week is all about you staying close to the cloth with people, places and things that feed your soul and don’t detract from it. No gossip. No negativity. Only things that bring pure hearted energy are worth our time and energy right now. Do not indulge with people who want to fight with you for their own selfish gain, especially since this is a week where you will be spending time potentially with family or with loved ones and they can ask some insane shit. Jaguar represents cutting through the bullshit to get to the positive center of it all. ‘The jaguar is a symbol of protection, courage, and strength. It's also associated with intuition, confidence, and decisiveness. When this spirit animal appears to you, it may remind you to trust your gut.
